Meeting at the Airport and transfer to a hotel. Depending on arrival time we will do a city tour. The next day, after breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Tsaghkadzor. We will enjoy our stay in one of the most beautiful ski resorts not only in Armenia, but also in Caucasus. The last day we will return to Yerevan and will transfer to the Airport.

The tour is designed and costed for a group of 4 tourists.

Day 1: Arrival To Yerevan. Transfer from the Zvartnots International Airport. Check in a hotel. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 2:  Yerevan - Tsaghkadzor

After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to winter ski resort Tsagkhadzor. We will enjoy our day in one of the most beautiful ski resorts not only in Armenia, but also in Caucasus. After we get to Tsagkhadzor, we will check in a hotel, have lunch and start an amazing tour with snowmobiles. We will have a half day riding. After a tour - dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 3:   Tsaghkadzor

After breakfast at the hotel we will continue snowmobile riding. Today we will have a full day ride through the villages, forests and mountains. On the way we will have a coffee and tea stops. We will have our lunch in Tsaghkadzor. Dinner and overnight in Tsaghkadzor.

Day 4:   Tsaghkadzor – Yerevan – transfer to Airport

Travel through history and beauty of an ancient land during this 14-day guided tour in Armenia, designed on one hand to journey, on the other hand not to rush and be able to enjoy the trip at its best. Discover and enjoy this fantastic country together with your personal tour guide!

You'll visit Amberd fortress, then drive to Lake Qari on the altitude of 3090 metres above sea level. Then, late in the evening after dinner, you'll visit Byurakan Observatory for stargazing with the real telescopes. On the second day of your trip you'll visit the impressive Dashtadem fortress and then continue your journey through Shirak region to Gyumri with overnight stay.

The next day you'll head for Lori, one of the most picturesque regions of Armenia, also known for its significant historical monuments. You'll visit famous Akhtala fortress and UNESCO heritage monastic complex of Haghpat. You'll stay overnight in Haghpat.

You'll continue to discover the treasures of Lori and enjoy grandiose landscape and continue your way to Dilijan.

On your 6th day, you will head for Lake Seva, visit Noratus, a unique place with about 900 khachqars, travel along the legendary Silk Road through splendid Vardenyats Pass on 2410 metres above sea level, stop at the medieval Caravanserai and stay in Yeghegis overnight. On day 7 you'll discover Areni, wine region of Armenia, visit Noravank, the magnificent Gnishik Gorge, world's oldest winery  and of course will taste some of the best wine in the world. Then you'll travel to Syunik province to visit Hin Khndzorek, a cave village and pass the swinging iron bridge. You'll stay in Goris overnight.

On day 8, is the day to fly on the wings of Tatev, the longest reversible aerial tramway and visit splendid Tatev monastery. On that very day, after lunch, you'll visit a prehistoric observatory of Qarahunj, one of the oldest such constructions in the world. Then you'll travel to Sisian to stay overnight. 

You'll have an off-road trip to another prehistoric monument- petroglyphs of Ukhtasar. They are situated at the altitude of about 3200 metres above sea level. Sometimes this site may be inaccessible due to weather conditions and high altitude. You'll be back to Sisian for lunch and continue your way to Yerevan. You'll stay in Yerevan all following nights until the day of your departure.

On day 10 you will be welcomed in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. You'll have a city-tour with Erebuni fortress, the birthplace of Yerevan (8th century BC), museums and famous sites of the city. You'll visit Zvartnots, 7th-century temple, Holy Ejmiatzin and another fantastic archaeological site and museum with civilizational significance, Metzamor.  The following days you'll visit  Garni, a famous pagan temple of the Sun, rock-carved Geghard, the Matenadaran, the biggest repository of ancient manuscripts food market and legendary Ararat Cognac museum with degustation, Megeryan Carpet to have farewell dinner in the most authentic atmosphere of Armenian rugs.

The last day of the trip. Depending on the time of your flight we'll manage this day the optimal way for your comfort. We'll transfer you to the airport and will hug you good-bye and begin missing you already.

Breakfast at the hotel before visiting Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the first official Christian church in the world, built in 301 AD. Then visit Zvartnots temple and Ashtarak Karmravor Church that was built in the 7th Century in Ashtarak. Have lunch in Ashtarak and then attend a tasting session of different types of dried fruits and natural honey. Dinner in Yerevan.

Day 4: (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Garni temple which is the unique survived example of Armenian heathen culture. Then head to the beautiful Christian Monastery of Geghard; carved out of solid rock between the 11th and 13th centuries. Lunch in Geghard. Taste the freshly made Armenian lavash bread by the locals at the restaurant. Bus transfer to Yerevan and dinner in Yerevan.

Day 5: (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Taste the best wine assortments in Areni village winery, then visit Noravank which is a 13th century Armenian monastery and has a unique constructive and sculptural work. After having lunch in Noravank transfer to Goris. Dinner in Goris and overnight.

Day 6: (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel in Goris before visiting Tatev Monastery that used to be the wealthiest medieval monastery in Armenia. Take the world’s largest cable-way between Halidzor and Tatev Monasteries that passes through a deep gorge of the River Vorotan. There will be a surprise waiting for in Halidzor; lunch at local village house. Back to Goris. Dinner in Goris and overnight.

Day 7: (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel in Goris before going to Yeghegnadzor for lunch. Enjoy the most delicious Karmrakhayt fish (high mountain fresh water lake fish) in a local restaurant. Drive to Noratus and the forest of khachkars (cross-stone) open-air museum. Pass the fascinating mountains of Lake Sevan, which is one of the world's greatest high altitude fresh-water lakes. Go to Dilijan, famous for its fresh air and mild climate. Enjoy the tasty food made by locals at a restaurant in Dilijan. Overnight in Dilijan.

Day 2: Yerevan city tour

Stop At: Republic Square, Yerevan 0010 Armenia
Breakfast. We will start the tour in the capital of Armenia: Yerevan. For ages this city has been known as a “pink city” because of the color of the stone it has been built with. So we will visit Republic square, Mashtoc Avenue, the House of Opera and Ballet after Aram Khachatryan, the park “Cascad”. Then we will visit the Manuscript Museum of Armenia, which is called Matenadaran; here all ancient Armenian Manuscripts are kept. Then we should visit Genocide Memorial known as Tsitsernakaberd. Dinner at a traditional Armenian restaurant where you may taste the masterpieces of Armenian cuisine. Overnight in the hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Vishapasar - Geghard - Garni - Yerevan

Stop At: The Monastery of Geghard, Geghard Armenia
Breakfast. Descent from the mountains. Visit the Monastery of Geghard Monastery. Its name came from the legendary lance that was used to pierce the body of Christ. It has been kept here for centuries. Though the exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid – 13th century. Afterwards we will a local house where you will have the chance to see and participate in the preparation of Armenian national bread: lavash. It is a very thin, usually sold in very large forms. It is usually cooked in a ground oven: “tonir''. In 2015 it has been inscribed in UNESCO intangible heritage list. Here we will enjoy the “Armenian fast food” with lavash and cheese. Then the journey continues towards the pagan temple Garni. It was devoted to the god Mihr, who was the god of cleanness. In 1679 it was destroyed by earthquake. In the 1975 the Temple was restored. Return to Yerevan, dinner at local restaurant. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Yerevan - Haghpat - Sanahin - Dilijan

Stop At: Haghpat Monastery, next to Saint Nshan Church, Haghpat Armenia
Today we will visit two unique masterpieces of Armenian architecture of X-XIV centuries: the monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Literally the name ’’Sanahin’’ in Armenian means "this one is older than the other," which probably means that this monastery is older of than Haghpat. These two monasteries are very close to each other and can be easily seen from one to the other. Both are located on an uneven plateau, separated by a deep crack formed by a small river that flows into the river Debed. Haghpat Monastery was one of the largest religious, cultural and educational centers of medieval Armenia. We will do trakking route from Haghpat to Sanahin. Visit Dilijan. Lunch at local house. City tour in Dilijan. Walking along the way Sharamberyan which is considered a symbol of "The old Dilijian", is still charming with its articraft workshops and small shops of Armenian souvenirs. Stop At: Monastery Sevanavank, next the Holy Mother of God Church, Sevan Armenia
Breakfast. We will drive to Lake Sevan which is one of the largest lakes in the world. It stands out with its sweet and astonishingly blue water. Here we can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful lake. Then we will visit Sevanavank Monastery which is situated on Sevan Peninsula. There are 2 monasteries actually; one of them is destroyed but the other stands still. Today we are going to pass the pathways that have been used by the travellers of Great Silk Road. We will drive through the Selim Caravanserai, which served as an important center of exchange, trade and for overnight during the times of Great Silk Road. Here we can see the immortal tracks of world history. After all we will drive to Goris. Dinner and overnight in Goris. (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Take trip to Noravank - a monastery of XII century situated among amazing sheer rocks on the bench of a twisty gorge. This is the only monastery where we may find a unique sculpture of Father God. Then we will continue to wine Village Areni. This village is very famous with its red wine. Visit the wine factory of the village where we will have wine degustation. At last we will stop at Khor Virap Monastery (4-18th cc.). This monastery is very prominent because of its history; Gregory the Illuminator, who introduced Christianity to Armenia, has been imprisoned there about 13 years as at that time there was a prison in the place of the monastery. Here we can enjoy the spectacular view of the sacred Ararat Mountain - an immortal symbol of Armenia. Drive back to Yerevan. Dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Breakfast. We will start the excursion to centuries-old monuments Ejmiatsin and Zvartnots. These sites are listed on UNESCO World Heritage list. Zvartnots Temple was built in 7th century by Nerses Builder Catholicos. Our next step is the spiritual center of Armenia: Ejmiatsin. The Cathedral of Ejmiatsin, founded in 303, is the official residence of the Catholicos of Armenia. We will also visit the museum of Ejmiatsin where a small part of Noah’s ark is kept. After all get back to Yerevan. Visit Megeryan Carpet factory. In the evening you may enjoy the night life of modern Yerevan. Farewell dinner at a very beautiful restaurant. Overnight in Yerevan. DAY1 Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Walking tour in Yerevan, during which you’ll get acquainted with the capital of Armenia. Overnight in Yerevan. (L)

DAY2 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to the only pagan temple left in Armenia – Garni, Garni gorge, to the “Symphony of the Stones”, Geghard monastery which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Yerevan. (L)

DAY3 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Khor Virap monastery, Areni vinery, Noravank monastery surrounded by the gorge known for its tall, brick-red cliffs. Overnight in Goris (L)

DAY4 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Tatev monastic complex to get to which we'll take the cable car Wings of Tatev. Tour to Shaki waterfall, Khndzoresk, famous for its canyon with picturesque rock formations, ancient cave settlement and the 160-meter long swinging bridge. Overnight in Goris. (D)

DAY5 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Selim caravanserai, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank monastic complex located on the peninsula, which was an island until the mid-20th century. Overnight in Sevan/Dilijan. (D)

DAY6 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Old Dilijan spa city usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland, Odzun monastery. Overnight in Alaverdi. (D)

DAY7 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Haghpat monastery, Gyumri, walking sightseeing in the second largest city in Armenia. Tour to Marmashen a 10th-century Armenian monastic complex. Overnight in Gyumri (L)

DAY8 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Talin, a seventh-century Armenian cathedral, Amberd, a 7th-century fortress located on the slopes of Mount Aragats. Overnight in Yerevan (D)

DAY9 Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Etchmiadzin, one of the three saint places in Armenia, the center of Armenian Apostolic church, St. Gayane and St. Hripsime churches and the archaeological remains at Zvartnots which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. (L)

DAY10 Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out, transfer to the airport.
